The ban on new SMSF residential LRBAs is now in effect. A separate, non-LRBA pathway remains open.
For referral partners

Give your SMSF clients a way forward and stay part of their team.

Since mid-August 2026, SMSF trustees can't take out new LRBAs to buy residential property. If your clients are asking what they can do now, we coordinate a separate, non-LRBA Unit Trust pathway, and you stay their trusted adviser throughout.

Who we work with

Professionals whose clients hold property in super.

Accountants and SMSF administrators

"My client was about to buy with an LRBA. What now?"

You keep the fund's accounting and compliance work. We coordinate the structure around it.

Financial planners

"Property was part of my client's SMSF strategy."

Your strategy advice stays with you. We handle the coordination between lawyers, accountants and lenders.

Buyers agents and property advisers

"My SMSF buyers have stalled."

Give trustees a pathway to keep building, while you stay involved in the property side.

Why partners refer to us

A clear answer for your clients, with no conflicts.

You stay the adviser

We don't give financial, tax, legal or credit advice, and we don't compete for your client. Your role is respected at every step.

We do the legwork

SMSF lawyers, accountants, our partnered broker, builders and lenders, coordinated through six clear steps. You don't have to project-manage it.

No referral fees

We don't pay or charge referral fees. You refer because the pathway helps your client, which keeps your recommendation independent.

How referring works

Four steps, and you're kept in the loop.

  1. Partner call

We walk you through the structure, the process and the kind of clients it suits.

  2. Introduce your client

Send them our way or have them book a discovery call directly. We just need their permission to talk.

  3. We coordinate

The SMSF lawyers, accountant and our partnered broker work through the six steps, with your client making the decisions.

  4. You stay updated

With your client's consent, we keep you informed at key milestones through to construction.

Which clients fit

A good referral usually looks like this.

These are general indicators. Suitability for each fund is confirmed by the client's own licensed advisers.

  • An SMSF trustee who wants to build residential property inside super
  • Plans that relied on an LRBA and were affected by the ban
  • An existing SMSF (in most cases the client can keep using it)
  • A fund with the balance and cash flow to support land, fees and holding costs
  • A client ready to work with an SMSF lawyer, accountant and our partnered broker

Partner questions

What partners ask first.

See all FAQs →
Do you pay referral fees?

No. We don't pay or charge referral fees. Partners refer because the pathway helps their clients.

Will you take over my client?

No. We coordinate one specific process. Your ongoing relationship and advice stay with you.

Can I stay involved in my client's file?

Yes. With your client's consent, we'll keep you updated at key milestones. The legal, accounting and finance work is handled by the SMSF lawyer, accountant and our partnered broker.

What do you need from me to refer someone?

Just an introduction and your client's permission for us to contact them. We handle the intake from there.

Is the structure affected by the LRBA ban?

The ban applies to new LRBAs over residential property. The Unit Trust pathway is a separate, non-LRBA structure supported by a senior counsel opinion. Compliance for each fund is confirmed by the client's own SMSF lawyer and auditor before anything proceeds.
